Cancellation and Refund Policy - DR Kitchen Services

1. **Mandatory Visiting Charges**: A mandatory visiting charge of ₹350 applies to all service calls, regardless of whether the service is rendered immediately or scheduled for a later date. These charges are non-refundable under all circumstances. THE FOLLOWING POLICY IS WITH A CONSULT OF OUR LEGAL TEAM 

2. **Service-Cancellations by Customer**:

- **Before Service Commencement**: Customers may cancel their scheduled service appointment by providing a minimum of 24 hours notice. If a service appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, the visiting charge of ₹350 will still be applicable and must be paid by the customer.

- **After Service Commencement**: If a service has already commenced and the customer decides to cancel, no refund will be issued for the services performed up to the point of cancellation.

3. **Cancellations by DR Kitchen Services**: If DR Kitchen Services needs to cancel a scheduled appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be notified as soon as possible. In such cases, customers may choose to reschedule the appointment without any additional visiting charges.

4. **Refunds for Services**:

- **Completed Services**: Refunds are generally not available once the service has been completed. Refunds may only be considered if the service provided was not as per the agreed terms or if there was a significant defect in workmanship, subject to verification.

- **Advance Payments**: If a service is canceled by DR Kitchen Services, any advance payment made towards the service will be fully refunded. However, if the service is canceled by the customer after commencement, no refund of the advance payment will be issued.

5. **Refunds for Parts and Materials**:

- **Defective Parts**: Refunds on parts and materials are available only if the part is found to be defective and returned within 7 days of service. Used, damaged, or incorrectly handled parts are non-refundable.

- **Non-Refundable Charges**: All charges related to parts and materials that have been installed and used are non-refundable.

6. **Non-Refundable Charges**:

- The visiting charge of ₹350 is non-refundable in all cases, including scenarios where the customer decides not to proceed with the recommended service.

- Other non-refundable charges include diagnostic fees, transportation costs, and any costs incurred for services already rendered.

7. **Refund Processing Time**: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method only; no cash refunds will be provided.

8. **Incorrect Services**: If a service is incorrectly provided, customers must report the issue within 24 hours. DR Kitchen Services will assess and correct the error without additional charges, but no refund will be given for the visiting charge or already incurred costs.

9. **Unused Services and Maintenance Contracts**: Refunds for unused prepaid services or annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) are available on a pro-rata basis if the services have not yet been utilized. The request must be made within 30 days of payment, and the visiting charge remains non-refundable.

10. **Refund Request Process**: To request a refund, customers should contact our customer service team at [insert contact information], providing details of the service and the reason for the refund request. Each request will be reviewed, and the customer will be notified of the decision within a reasonable time frame.

11. **Dispute Resolution for Refunds**: Any disputes regarding cancellations and refunds will follow our dispute resolution process outlined in our Terms and Conditions. Efforts will be made to resolve disputes amicably, but unresolved matters may be referred to arbitration in Bangalore.

12. **Changes to Policy**: DR Kitchen Services reserves the right to modify the Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. All changes will be communicated to customers and updated on our website.
